Professional Link has carried out various assignments for local companies to produce a bespoke program for their specific business needs.

Professional Link use Visual Basic and the inherent Jet database engine to create such applications which can operate on a single computer or over a local area network.

Applications recently completed include:

CMS - A call logging system to record work carried out on individual clients, creating either chargeable or non chargeable Job Sheets.

WOS - A works ordering system for the Rubber Extrusion Industry.

SMS - A sales and marketing system for a roof tile manufacturer.

GDS - A Glass database system for the double glazing industry, collating data on unit specifications and warranty periods.

In addition, the following applications are currently being written.

4Caster - A cash flow forecasting program for the small and medium sized business. Using a twelve month sales prediction and an estimation of overheads, the application will produce a cashflow forecast for the year along with a predicted profit and loss and balance sheet.

VRS - A vehicle rental system tracking all company vehicles, maintenance details and rental diary.
